An exciting opportunity is available for a Talent Acquisition Specialist based in Cochlear's global headquarters in Macquarie University on a 12-months fixed term contract to cover a parental leave. This is a unique Talent Acquisition role managing high volume recruitment for a specialised role - Electronic Assemblers (Production Operators). You will become the subject matter expert and a true partner to our Manufacturing team.
In this role you will work with our Manufacturing Managers and Production Trainers to meet a broad range of business objectives and help deliver on their strategic and transactional hiring objectives. Responsibilities will include:
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment life cycle of the Electronic Assemblers team. This is high volume recruitment of a specialised role which requires you to be highly responsive with strong attention to detail. You will become a true owner of bringing this latent into the business.
- Build effective partnerships internally with hiring managers, manufacturing trainers and the broader People & Culture team, as well externally with Cochlear's prospective candidates and recruitment partners.
- Contribute to the optimal candidate experience by maintaining timely and informative interactions with all prospective applicants and by acting as the main point of contact throughout the recruitment process, providing appropriate feedback and advise throughout the recruitment process to ensure an overall effective hire
- Manage the various high school and university events Cochlear runs to attract candidates for the Electronic Assembler role

- Demonstrated ability manage complex, time-dependent deliverables and working within a fast-paced environment whilst balancing competing interests
- Experience with running recruitment events is ideal
