AddressPrezzee, a global leader in digital gifting, is seeking a Tax and Regulatory Senior Financial Accountant.
Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, you will be accountable for identifying, assessing and delivering the Tax and Regulatory obligations of the Group and also responsible for supervising our Tax and Regulatory advisors
Hybrid role based in Sydney
Your Role:
Planning and Delivery
- Coordinate with key internal/external stakeholders to develop an integrated regulatory plan which is aligned to our strategic objectives.
- Ensure risks and issues, such as global expansion and product roadmap, are identified, assessed, controlled, monitored using governance frameworks
- Consolidate reporting obligations across all jurisdictions
- Coordinate dependencies across internal/external stakeholders to ensure delivery is on time and on budget.
- Track delivery performance, making sure key regulatory deadlines are on track.
- Summarise and communicate results and recommendations to Finance leadership
Tax
- Work with our tax advisors across our global jurisdictions and new jurisdictions to map out our tax compliance obligations
- Coordinate with our tax advisors on complex tax filings across our global jurisdictions to ensure tax filings are accurate and on-time
- Assist regional finance teams with the lodgement of non-complex routine tax filings
- Support the Group Financial Controller in implementing our transfer pricing framework across the Group
Regulatory
- Work with our legal and accounting advisors across our global jurisdictions and new jurisdictions to map out our financial reporting obligations
- Coordinate our legal and accounting advisors on complex filings across our global jurisdictions to ensure financial reporting filings are accurate and on-time
- Assist with the lodgement of non-complex routine financial reporting filings across our global jurisdictions with the help of our local and offshore accountants
- Implement controls and processes based on internal and Regulatory advisor recommendations
Process improvement and optimisation
- Procure advisors to assist with Tax and Regulatory deliverables
- Implement controls and processes based on internal and tax advisor recommendations
- Leverage our Tax and Regulatory advisors to stay up-to-date on new obligations impacting the company
What We're Looking For:
- CPA or CA qualification.
- BBus in Accounting, Finance or relevant fields.
- Experience in a scaling/growing business
- Experience of Tax and Regulatory reporting
- Excellent communication, analytical and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage stakeholders and advisors at an operational level
- Highly organised in tracking global regulatory and tax reporting obligations
