Position Information
Tooleybuc Central School is a small rural school located on Wadi Wadi and Muthi Muthi Country along the banks of the Murray River, catering for students from Foundation to Year 12. Students are drawn from surrounding towns in both NSW and Victoria.
School enrolments have remained steady at 120 students with approximately 14% of the school student population identifying as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander. There are a small number of students with English as an additional language or dialect in the school.

The school has a fantastic mix of experienced and enthusiastic early career teachers, allowing for all teachers to be capably mentored and supported to develop their teaching skills.
Selection Criteria
Approval to teach secondary and / or primary library or currently undertaking or currently enrolled in Teacher Librarian qualifications approved by the NSW Department of Education.
Demonstrated ability to perform the role of Teacher Librarian including maintaining the day-to-day operations of a school library.
Proven ability to teach and co-design learning activities with a wide range of KLAs and across K-12.
Demonstrated strong interpersonal, communication and organisation skills, with an ability to build positive and effective relationships with students, staff, parents and the community.
Conditions
An unconditional full approval to teach is a requirement. If you do not hold a full approval to teach with the NSW Department of Education, you are required to commence the at the same time as you apply for this teaching opportunity.

A Relocation of $5,000 up to $8,000 will be available for eligible applicants.

If applicable engagement will be temporary until successful completion of the Teacher Librarian qualifications as recognised by the NSW Department of Education, which must be completed within 24 months.
This is a permanent part-time position for 3 days per week 0.6FTE (full-time equivalent)
