About the role
We have permanent opportunity for a Team Leader joining our Asset Management Services team based in Leederville. You’ll lead an experienced team of multidisciplined Commissioning Manager’s delivering commissioning services to a large program of infrastructure projects across Western Australia. Working with the other leads to assign in-coming work to your team, you’ll undertake mentoring, performance assessments, development planning and day-to-day team meetings. As an experienced commissioning manager yourself, you will play a lead role in keeping our commissioning processes up-to-date. The role will involve occasional regional travel and site attendance. The duties are expected to be split 70/30 between office and field based work
What the role will involve
- Represent Water Corporation as the Principal’s Commissioning Manager in major capital projects across WA
- Ensuring Water Corporation’s required performance and functional testing is completed for all new assets
- Technical input to review of various design and asset handover documents for the projects
- Preparation and review of commissioning plans, procedures, test plans and schedules
- Functional review of SCADA & Control systems
- Leadership and coordination of technical teams undertaking commissioning tests
- Preparation of commissioning reports
Key skills and experience
You’ll be degree qualified in an engineering discipline or similar and have experience in infrastructure or process commissioning. You’ll also have design and/or operating experience with water treatment and/or pumping assets, and knowledge of process control and SCADA systems. Your demonstrated leadership, team management and ability to build and drive positive, collaborative relationships with stakeholders will ensure success in this role.
