About the role
We are seeking a dedicatedTeam Leaderfor our Crisis Contact Centre! You will lead a team to deliver high quality responses to Victorian individuals and families who are homeless or at risk of homelessness and seeking support through the 24/7 Crisis Contact Centre.
Responsibilities include
- Ensure clients provided with access to range of holistic support including brief interventions & advocacy services
- Lead others to optimal individual and team performance; recognise good performance and areas for improvement
- Manage recruitment and retention of skilled and qualified staff to create positive client outcomes and meet funding body targets
- Support facilitation of staff meetings on bimonthly basis including meeting documentation, Agenda and AIR
- Build connections with internal TSA Programs, services and streams; builds and uses interagency and community connections and partnerships
This is a permanent full-time position, based in St Kilda, VIC. You will be required to work 2 days per week from 12.00pm - 8.00pm to provide effective support and supervision to staff working outside of standard business hours. Salary and conditions are in accordance with SCHADS Level 6 Award.
You will have
- Degree qualification in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- Demonstrated high level of sector knowledge and skills attained through previous appointments, service and study/development
- Relevant experience in supervising staff
- Verification of full COVID vaccination status
- Disclosure of pre-existing health conditions that may impact on fulfilling position requirements
- Participation in On Call Roster
- Maintain and manage a corporate credit card, primarily for the purpose of booking hotel accommodation for clients
