ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES:

We are looking for a forward-thinking individual to lead a team of disability support workers in our supported living program where we provide high-quality personalised support services to our clients in their own home. This is a permanent full-time position and the responsibilities of the position include:

· Lead the development, implementation, and review of each client's comprehensive person-centred plan.

· Ensure the record keeping and documentation is complete, accurate and in accordance with Unisson Disability's policies and procedures and relevant Client Management System.

· Where required participate in processes related to the use of Restricted Practices.

· Provide support to clients to prepare for and attend NDIS Plan Review meetings, ensure all relevant support documentation and evidence is available and attend to actively participate or advocate for the client.

· Maintain and continuously improve staff skills through observation, feedback, and coaching.

· Ensure continuity of service by growing the business with new clients and support workers.

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE:

· 2-3 years' experience working in a leadership-based role in Disability Sector is highly desirable.

· Must have a reasonable understanding of the supported living program and an experience with supporting a range of people with a disability by understanding their complex needs.

· Willingness to participate in flexible working hours including evenings, weekends, and public holidays.

· High levels of enthusiasm, initiative, and a positive attitude.

· Is reliable, team focused and committed to achieving excellence in the Disability sector.

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and competing deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

· Excellent communication, organisation, presentation, and leadership skills with the ability to coach and develop these skills in others.

· Emotional intelligence, resilience, and capacity to perform the work required.

· Commitment to the values, vision and mission of Unisson Disability including leadership and implementation.
