Right now an exciting opportunity exists for a permanent full time Team Leader - Parks and Recreation to join our Engineering and Infrastructure Directorate based in Clermont. As part of the Parks and Recreation Department, this position will report to the Overseer - Parks and Recreation and is responsible for assisting to program, organise and deliver Parks and Recreation operational and capital programs and shall provide the operational leadership of Parks and Recreation activities.
To be successful in this position, you will have:
- At least 12 months demonstrated experience in a similar role
- Demonstrated ability to allocate workflows and resources to achieve works program objectives
- Demonstrated supervisory & leadership experience within Parks and Recreation teams
- Knowledge and/or experience in in horticulture or Parks and gardens maintenance
- Tertiary qualifications relevant to the role (minimum Cert III)
- White Card (Construction Industry)
- Current C Class Open Australian Drivers Licence
- Salary $76,472.16 to $89,940.83 per annum plus allowances
- Subsidised Council housing
- Nominally 38 hours per week
- RDO’s in accordance with IRC’s Certified Agreement
- 5 weeks annual leave @ 17.5% loading
