About The Role
We are currently seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our team as a Team Leader - Picking and Distribution. In this role, you will manage 3-5 direct reports and you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of our picking, distribution and logistics processes, guaranteeing that our customers receive the highest quality floral products on time, every time.
This is a full-time 12-month parental leave cover position in Monbulk, working Monday - Friday (with additional days during peak season), 6am - 6pm.
Required Experience/Skills/Capabilities:
- Previous experience in a similar role within the production, warehouse, perishable goods, logistics industry or related field. Floral experience highly desirable.
- A current and valid Australian Drivers Licence
- A current and valid Forklift Licence
- Strong leadership abilities with a passion for coaching and mentoring team members.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, with a focus on maintaining product quality.
- Flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing prioritises.
- Physical fitness is a priority and focus of the job. Able to lift more the 20kgs and stand on your feet all day.
- Required to work in refrigeration as low as 3 degrees for periods of time.
