What are we looking for? A technically minded professional with trade or engineering skillset who is keen for a challenge and wants to work on the front end of project delivery. 

We are currently seeking a confident and motivated Technical Sales Estimator to join our Toowoomba based team. Working closely with our experienced engineering and sales teams, the Technical Sales Estimator will be responsible for managing the pricing and estimating functions to convert business opportunities for the Group.

The Technical Sales Estimator role will take technical enquiries and opportunities through to detailed inclusions, exclusions, produce detailed scopes of work and formulate pricing and offers. For the right person they will also be involved in scoping new builds and producing technical specifications, drawings and assist with developing market collateral. 

• Previous experience within the industry or background in technical or trade roles along with high level microsoft excel skills 
• Well developed ability to manage accurate cost estimates and take offs;
• Advanced level understanding of mechanical engineering concepts and fabrication methodologies; 
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to think innovatively to deliver quality client outcomes;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; and
• Enthusiastic, self motivated and driven with a passion for the oil and gas industry.
