Form of workWe are a well-respected Engineering Company, specializing in the manufacture, assembly, sale and after-market servicing of Control Valves, Regulators, Safety Valves, Engineered Products and Instrumentation to the Oil and Gas, Sugar, Mining, Power and Water/Waste Water Industries.
We seek a team-oriented individual who is able to think outside of the square, and is looking for an opportunity to work within the Sales and Engineering Department based at Eagle Farm.
The candidate will be involved with a wide range of activities including valve and instrument sizing and specification, quotation, order entry, aftermarket and client communications.
To be successful in this role, you need the following qualifications and experience:
- Ideally you would have a Mechanical / Chemical Engineering Degree with experience in the valve and instrument fields or be able to demonstrate equivalent industry experience.
- Background in process control equipment would be an advantage as is an interest in sales.
- Good Computer Skills, Experience with Excel and Word is an essential.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask
- You must possess an excellent communication skill (both written and oral), and be an independent, mature & self-motivated person.
