About the role Do you love providing exceptional customer service? Here's your opportunity to support the healthcare professionals who look after our community. The IT Technical Support Officer plays a key role in providing I.T. support for a large regional health service. In this role you will be responsible for the delivery of high-quality IT services through customer support, request, incident, and problem management. Your duties will include solving first level technical issues and communicating effectively with colleagues & end users to promote a high standard of customer service. This is an ideal role for an IT all-rounder who has great customer service skills in IT.
We are looking for:
- Demonstrated skills in the ability to support and maintain desktops, notebooks, applications and mobile devices.
- The ability to communicate solutions to customer problems, via different methods of communication (face to face, phone, email)
- Exceptional customer service skills providing a friendly 'can-do' approach to resolving requests
- The ability to thrive in a busy, fast-paced environment and be able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks and operate calmly under pressure
