The key purpose of this role is to deliver salon reception duties with high standard of customer service for the Hair Beauty & Barbering industries. Other duties such as making salon appointments, and scheduling booking for guest presenters, following policies & procedures for point of salon and cash handling. Setting up equipment for special events. Competent in use of stocktake, word and excel spreadsheets. Ability to multi-task, and meet deadlines in a busy environment. vocational education and training and conduct competency-based assessment in specified program(s) in a range of settings including classroom, workplace and online environments to support this vision.We are excited about you because you have:
- Experience working in a with hair, beauty or salon environment is an advantage.
- Specialist knowledge and experience in preparation of classroom practicals, manufacture of teaching aids and maintenance of equipment, is an advantage.
- Demonstrated knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations and principles as they relate to a workshop/simulated workplace environment servicing a wide range of users.
- Specialist technical problem-solving skills.
- Sound customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to edit, understand and comply with complex technical instructions.
- Ability to maintain accurate records of technical issues, resolutions, and support activities
