Company Background & Job Role

WELTRAUM Pty Ltd was created in 2005 to be the dedicated Point of Sale Help Desk and Technical Support Centre for ALDI Stores in Australia.

• Located in Hawthorn East close to transport and services
• Close to business partners
• Working from home for some selected shifts available
• Report to Service Desk Manager
• Procedural and Technical Support via telephone and remote access tools
• Interesting project work
• Friendly environment

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist store staff with system procedures
• Monitor system communications and data processing
• Escalate calls to level 2, 3 or third party service providers as required
• Use scripts for automation of tasks
• Load and configure software for new store systems
• Log incident details in ticketing systems for incident management and reports

Education & Qualifications

• I.T. related degree essential. Do not apply without one.
• Have an understanding of at least one programming or scripting language
• Have an understanding of networks and related equipment.
• Industry experience is favourable

ALDI Helpdesk Support Roster Hours

• Rotating 10 hour shifts between 6am and 1am. 33% from home.
• 8 day fortnight. 
• Working alternate full weekends from home.

Retail Technical Support & Help Desk

• Level 1 $72,234 + Super (1st Year)
• Incremented over 4 years of continuous service to $92,598 + Super
