- TCSA Salaried Employees Award, Clerk Grade 9/ 10, annual package starting from $135,774 to $149,619 (includes base salary starting from $120,859 to $133,183 + 11% superannuation)
TCSA is looking for an experienced Technology Managerto join our Information and Technology team!
About the Role…This position is responsible for planning, designing, supporting, and maintaining Taronga's Technology Infrastructure and meeting compliance obligations for Cyber resilience. The position is responsible for maintaining secure and robust technology environment utilising a cloud-first approach or other best-fit industry leading technologies.
Reporting into the Director of IT, this role is pivotal in guiding technology investment that enables Taronga's strategic goals.
Key Accountabilities…- Managing day to day activities of the Technology Team
- Provide effective leadership and management of staff ensuring appropriate systems, policies, procedures, resourcing, performance management, budget management, and continuous improvement in a high-performance, values driven culture.
- Manage the lifecycle of multiple technologies and platforms to delivers maximum benefit to the organisation
- Design and manage cyber resilient, integrated technology platforms that enable the current architecture
- Establish and maintain Technology governance framework through implementation of best practice standards, policies and processes.
- Ensure that technology infrastructure installations are completed (time, cost and quality) to minimise adverse business impact and maximise positive business outcomes
- Develop network and system asset management, including maintenance of component inventory, life cycle management, stock take and related documentation.
- Conduct research and make recommendations on cloud and network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
- Contribute to building capability within the Technology stream ensuring effective knowledge sharing and coaching
- Proactively identify business risks and opportunities to continually improve efficiency and effectiveness
- Assess availability, performance and capacity of services and resources to ensure cost-justifiable capacity and performance are available to support business needs and to deliver against agreed priorities, budget and timeframes.
We are looking for candidates that have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or equivalent experience in IT Management.
- Experience leading a small, multi skilled team
- Relevant degree, technical certifications or equivalent experience
- Experience in implementing best practice management standards such as ITIL, ISO 27001, ISO 55001, ASD Essential 8 and ASD Information Security Manual.
- Hold a current NSW Driver's License or ability to have existing license formally recognised
- Obtain and maintain a current NSW Working with Children Check.
