Operational Training is crucial to the business success and the Training Manager will be responsible for setting the Training Strategy and standards across the organisation, re-invigorating the function to ensure that training is focused on the achievement of broader business objectives, employee effectiveness and engagement.
Working nationally and reporting to the Organisational Development Leader, the Training Manager will lead and motivate a small team to develop and deliver operational training programs. As a leadership role, it is expected that you will also be able to delve into the improvement and design of programs and influence key stakeholders as to the Training Strategy, continuous improvement initiatives, and compliance issues. This is a real opportunity to further improve and evolve the Training function in an innovative, exciting and fast-paced organisation.
To be successful in this role you will have been working in a medium to large organisation as a Training Manager and given the nature of this organisation, you will also have experience working in blue-collar environments and building vocational skills training programmes. Your knowledge and experience in writing and developing training compliance materials that align with the relevant legislation will be crucial to your success in this role. Tertiary education and appropriate qualifications are essential.
