You will be part of First Nations Housing and Homelessness, which contribution is to deliver aspects of the Queensland Housing Strategy 2017 - 2027 and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Housing Action Plan 2019 - 2023.
What you will be doing
• Deliver learning and development activities including information sessions, workshops and training to facilitate effective, consistent and informative customer service delivery.
• Design, develop and review appropriate training and/or training materials on business systems, policies and procedures that assist staff to understand and apply their knowledge and training to practical workplace situations.
• Coordinate the planning, administration and resources necessary to prepare and deliver learning and development activities within agreed timeframes and to specified outcomes.
• Evaluate and recommend suitable external training providers and facilitators to deliver training with an emphasis on providing value for money, consistency andquality outcomes.
• Provide advice on contemporary training practices and methodologies to senior management and if appropriate adapting or modifying to suit individual locations and learning needs.
• Evaluate internal and external learning and development activities and regularly monitoring feedback to assist improved training methods and outcomes.
• Conduct training needs analyses and developing relevant training plans.
• Have an understanding of housing, real estate, property management and asset management would be highly desirable

Mandatory requirements
• A Certificate IV in Workplace Training and Assessment, or a willingness to undertake and complete a similar program within six months of appointment.
• Travel to other office locations across city, remote and rural is a requirement of this role.
