An exciting opportunity exists for a Transport Administrator to join our growing team at our busy St Marys branch. This newly created role will be an integral part of the Transport and Logistics team, also providing support to our Hire Room when required.
This is a full time permanent, office based role works Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm
Daily responsibilities will include;
- Providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist with Transport and order allocation.
- Processing customer orders.
- Follow up on account queries.
- Providing additional support to the Transport Manager as required.
- Providing general administrative support to Hire office.
The successful candidate will be an individual who will honour our core values of People, Safety, Respect, Communication and Continuous Improvement - in addition to this they will have:
- Experience in a similar role essential, applicants with industry experience will be highly regarded.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality; ability to prioritise work and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as a part of a team.
- A proven track record for exceptional customer service.
- Sound experience and knowledge in MS Office products such as Excel, Word and Outlook and other data base or ideally hire based systems.
- Outstanding interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-past paced environment.
- Be self-motivated with a positive, can-do attitude.
- A strong commitment to OH&S.
