Form of workWe have an exciting opportunity for a Transport Administrator to join a leading company in the transport industry – ASAP start!
Duties include, however not limited to:
- Process daily orders for customers, ensuring that all orders are picked and packed to a high standard and are in good condition.
- Coordinate the receipt of all incoming goods, ensuring they are packaged to company standards, and are free from abrasions or damage.
- Assist and organise the allocation of transport ensuring that trucks are organised to meet daily freight requirements
- Develop and maintain departmental work instructions for all tasks conducted in the warehouse environment.
- Maintain a clean, presentable, and well-organised work environment.
- Processing orders into ICS System
- Coordinate picking slips, labels, and connotes
- Monitor weekly warehouse storage pricing according to rate cards
- Liaise and coordinate pallet control officers to ensure proper tracking of pallets
- Generate reports when required
- Manage customer correspondence in a prompt and professional manner via phone or email
- Escalate issues in a timely and professional manner
- Organise and prioritise workload to meet customer deadlines
- Perform other related duties as directed
About you:
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn

- Strong attention to detail
- Sound knowledge of WHS
- Available to work 5 days per week – 12pm start
- Own reliable transport
- Highly developed customer service skills
- Proficient use of MS Office and IT applications
- Problem solving skills
- 2 years’ experience in a similar role
