About the Role
Team Global Express is currently seeking a Transport Administrator/Timeslot Coordinator to commence immediately at our Karawatha Depot on Brisbane's South Side (Nearby Areas include Browns Plains, Calamvale, Crestmead). This is a Full Time Permanent Position that provides you with the opportunity to join our Operations Team to coordinate Timeslot Bookings for our Deliveries and to also liaise and build relationships with multiple stakeholders throughout our business.
Key Responsibilities and Requirements
- This is a Permanent Full Time position, 7.6 hours x 5 Days a week
- Monitor and respond to both internal and external emails in a timely manner
- Print off all timeslot consignments from the inbound manifest spreadsheet to prepare to book in for delivery
- Work out futile issues and organise corrective actions to resolve for redelivery
- Liaise with the team on the operational floor to help resolve issues with damaged and rejected freight
- Use online booking systems such as C3, Inbound Connect, Mobile Dock, Descartes
- Book in deliveries via email and phone
- Raise pallets dockets for bookings in 2IC
- Create a daily handover sheet for the operations team to plan the timeslot bookings for delivery
- Print and action all due and overdue connotes from the FID report daily
- Must have professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- You must also have strong organisational skills and excellent time management skills
- Intermediate Microsoft Office knowledge (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
- You must be able to work autonomously and also as part of a large team
