Our Opportunity
As VM Coordinator for our brand, this is an exciting opportunity to elevate your VM career. Ensuring our creative concepts are delivering on our brand strategy and maximise store sales, you will be working both in-store and our head office to showcase our product and elevate our customer experience.
Reporting to our Marketing Manager as part of our Marketing team and working closely with our Planning Manager, your experience in VM will help us to provide the highest return on space to maximise sales. Your time in head office will be spent managing all VM communications to our store and national office teams.
Suzanne Grae is in the process of taking the Grae brand to the next level. You will be instrumental in assisting the marketing team in testing & developing new POS and developing key insights from sales per square meter analysis to initiate changes to the store layout that can drive sales.
In this full time, permanent position, some flexibility may be necessary in certain circumstances, with regular interstate travel and drivers licence required.
Your day-to-day will include:
- Driving sales via visual merchandising our stores to maximise the potential sales per square meter
- In-store visual merchandising to reflect the Grae brand
- Develop and implement store layouts and floor plans which maximise store sales
- Work closely with our Planning Manager and Buying team
- Attend new and refurbished store set ups and openings nationally
- Provide input regarding in-store advertising collateral and campaign effectiveness
- Develop and communicate all visual merchandising communication to stores and national office teams
- Communicate regularly with Business Managers and Store Managers to discuss store visits and planning for week ahead
- Keep up to date with knowledge of current styling trends and current/future VM trends worldwide
- Work together with National Operations Managers to determine store training & development requirements
- Build relationships with other brands VM teams as required
Skills & Experience required:
- Proven experience in working in a similar visual merchandising role (for high volume fashion retailer desirable)
- Tertiary qualification or similar in Visual Merchandising/Fashion or equivalent highly desirable
- Previous experience working in fashion retail
- Creative Visual Merchandising skills
- Strong planning & organisational skills
- Relationship building and problem solving skills
- Effective time management skills
