We are looking to employ a Workshop Production Manager with previous experience, who has solid automotive and manufacturing knowledge and genuinely committed to quality and customer satisfaction.
The successful candidate will oversee and manage our Workshop Production teams that manufactures and delivers the best Fleet, Trade and Adventure ute canopies in Australia. RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead and motivate a team of technicians, whilst fostering a high-performing work environment.
- Coordinate operational workflow, labour planning and allocate resources effectively to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor and maintain quality control, ensuring that all work meets our stringent standards.
- Implement and enforce safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team, sharing your expertise and fostering professional growth.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimise processes and drive operational efficiency. This will include inventory control and third party co-ordination.
REQUIREMENTS
- Proven experience as a Workshop Supervisor in a manufacturing facility or similar.
- Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills to inspire and motivate a team of over 30 employees.
- Exceptional organisational and problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient computer skills.
- Able to multitask and prioritise a busy workload.
- Keen to learn and develop new skills.
