We are currently seeking a dynamic individual to fill the role of Warehouse Officer. In this position, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse and production facility. Your responsibilities will include managing inventory, orchestrating product shipments, ensuring seamless order fulfillment, and maintaining optimal stock control.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and oversee daily operations of the warehouse and production facility, ensuring the timely and accurate fulfillment of orders.
- Uphold a safe and organised work environment by enforcing company policies, conducting regular safety checks, and implementing efficient layout and storage systems.
- Review and update sales orders, invoices, reports, packing lists, and other documentation associated with warehouse and production activities.
- Collaborate closely with customer service, operations, and logistics teams to resolve issues and guarantee customer satisfaction.
- Work in tandem with warehouse and production supervisors and managers to plan and optimise workflows and resources.
- Assist the operations department in fulfillment and quality control, escalating issues to managers when necessary.
- Utilise warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software for efficient tracking and management of inventory, orders, and shipments.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with good manufacturing practices (GMP).
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a Warehouse Officer, production coordinator, or similar role within a warehouse and production environment.
- Physical fitness and possession of a Forklift License.
- High school diploma or equivalent; certification or diploma in logistics, supply chain, or related field is a plus.
- Proficient in warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software.
- Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Capability to thrive under pressure, multitask effectively, and prioritise tasks.
- Meticulous attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to quality.
