What you will be doing
Reporting directly to the Warehouse Manager, this role will be responsible for:
- Receiving, storing, packing, and dispatching warehouse items while maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Leading, supporting and training pick teams during election preparations and major events.
- Assisting with loading and unloading vehicles, ensuring safe and efficient freight handling.
- Providing weekly courier services and supporting ad hoc deliveries/collections.
- Testing and maintaining all inventory items and election office equipment
- Maintaning the storage and retrieval of VEC records
What you will bring to the role
- A current and valid forklift's license (mandatory. High reach and counterbalance experience preferred)
- A current and valid car driver's license (mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience working in a warehouse, including the ability to control a 1-tonne vehicle
- Ability to motivate, guide and support team members to acheive high performance
- Ability to quickly adapt to new computer systems with proven experience in the use of MS Word and Excel
