ProQuest Recruitment is looking to appoint a WHS Consultant for a brand new automated FMCG distribution centre. Being the first point of contact and managing all WHS on site, including sub-supplier installation, you will work in a cohesive manner with the Site Supervisor to oversee its operation.
This role will require you to have a full understanding of local regulations and laws and a basic understanding of electrical installation. You will be adept at creating SWM's, risk assessments and consult and coordinate activities with all relevant duty holders.
Conducting regular site reviews, your presence on the 'ground' to identify hazards and mitigate risk will be paramount.
Tasks you will be involved in, however not limited to:
- Apply your knowledge of local WHS regulations related to Construction and Electrical Installation
- Conduct regular site reviews including assessment and identification of safety issues
- Liaison with Project Management, Builders and 3rd Party Auditors
- Plan and formulate solutions
To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Demonstrated experience managing a comprehensive and compliant Work Health Safety program for construction and electrical works
- An Australian recognised WHS qualification
- Construction trade tickets including White Card, EWP
- Your own PPE that meets Australian standards
