Exciting opportunity for an experienced Health and Safety Manager to join us in a national role, leading and shaping the Health and Safety for Seven Network Operations.

From ensuring our Journalists on the ground are protected whilst covering critical national and international news stories to making sure our production teams are set up safely in our studios - this role will give you the variety, interest and challenge that will mean no two days are the same. 

As our Health and Safety Manager, reporting to Head of People Shared Services, you will be responsible for driving a culture of safety, ensuring compliance across the Network and implementing initiatives that protect our people.

What you'll be doing:

• Promoting and embedding a culture of safety across the organisation
• Ensure WHS compliance and workers compensation legislation is up to date  
• Implementing and maintaining WHS Management systems, policies, and procedures
• Work with stakeholders to provide timely advice on WHS compliance, incident investigations, and risk management
• Coaching and educating to uplift WHS knowledge to ensure proactive approaches to safety
• Provide WHS reports to the Board and Exec Stakeholders
• Identify and proactively address WHS trends and issues
• Facilitate WHS training programs within organisations

We'd love you to have: 

• Demonstrated WHS management experience
• Thorough understanding of WHS legislation
• Proven track record in managing workers compensation
• Ability to build positive relationships across all levels
• Strong influencing and consulting skills
• Ability to thrive in high-pressure, fast-paced environments
