A03 officer for an immediate start for a Government Department in Mackay

Your new role
In this role you will find yourself carrying out duties including, but not limited to;

• Data entry

• General Reception duties

• Fleet and Plant administration

• Updating customer accounts
• Redirection of calls and enquiries
• Actioning any follow-up administration
• Managing mailbox review and actioning

• Provide administrative support across the department

• Answering /directing customer enquiries in person, by phone, or email

• Attending vacant public housing properties to carry out inspection/reporting.

• Work Orders - updating, assigning tasks, job card entry, reviews and investigation as requested by supervisors and managers, responding to MRC enquires and requests

What you'll need to succesful

To be successful in this role, you will require the following;

• High level of MS Suite experience

• Have excellent time management skills

• Excellent Verbal and written Communication

• Ability to work autonomously and within a team

• A genuine interest in resolving customers' enquiries

• Be adaptable to change and work well under pressure.

• Previous experience working in a high-volume call centre position
• Ability to identify customers' needs through effective questioning & active listening skills
