Accountant Needed, Horham Based Role, Local Council, $55.00PH+ Super, Immediate Start

Hays Recruitment have partnered with a local council based near Horsham that are requiring an experienced Accountant to join their team on a temporary basis. The role is an immediate start with the view to go until April, but the possibility of extension for high performers.
What you'll need to succeed
- You are degree qualified in Accounting, Finance or Commerce
- You have significant experience in providing financial expertise and assistance to senior management, particularly in preparing budgets, namely capital and operational budgets
- Experience using BIS and assisting others to create budgets within this
- Ideally, previous experience in local council positions
- Ability to provide expert advice on financial matters
- Expert planning and reporting skills
- Ability to engage with staff and external stakeholders readily and in a professional manner
