Accountant required for a growing privately owned Company

A privately owned business with an outstanding reputation, specialises in connecting customers globally by making an array of products and gifts.

Your new role

Supporting the Head of Finance, you will have responsibility for the day to day accounting requirements for the business. This role incorporates all reporting, work in progress/job costing, and assisting with statutory compliance.

Specific tasks include:

• Monthly financial / management reporting pack
• Reconciliations, month end duties, P&L and balance sheet
• Monthly WIP reviews and inventory management
  
• Management of fixed assets
• Running fortnightly payroll
  
• Taxation compliance
  
• Supporting the annual budgeting process
  
• Development of processes and procedures
  

What you'll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will have previous experience of working as the accounting lead in a privately owned company. You will enjoy being hand's on and in the trenches.

Knowledge of working in a product-related company is highly advantageous along with the ability to communicate across the business.
