Bob Reus & Co. is a well established & well respected local Accounting & Financial Planning firm located in Engadine looking for a new member to join our Accounting team.
We are looking at adding an additional accountant to continue with the growth of the business.
This is a full time position within an innovative and professional business.
Role Overview
Bob Reus & Co prides itself on providing our clients with high quality accounting & taxation advice.
You will be required to liaise with our clients in a professional manner, work within a team environment & liaise with our accounting staff.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare Individual, Company, Trust & SMSF tax returns.
- Complete quarterly BAS's & activity statements
- Preparation of financial statements
- Deliver high quality guidance and advice to our clients
- Maintain a detailed and technical working knowledge in all accounting areas
- Liaise with clients
- Work within a team & autonomously
Experience and Skills
- Previous experience in a role within a tax & accounting firm preferred
- Good technical knowledge
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and a high attention to detail
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and our accounting team
- A sound understanding in computer literacy
- Experience with Class Super, Quickbooks, Xero, Handisoft will be seen as superior
- Have the ability to problem solve & think critically
- Be well organised and highly motivated
