What are we looking for?
We currently have an opportunity for a casual/contract Accounting Assistant to join our team at Shell V-Power Motorsport Park. This position will be responsible for ensuring that all Banking, Accounts Payable and Accounts receivable processes are completed in a prompt and timely manner. We operate on a Shared services model so this role will be supporting the team as an Accounting Assistant across all the Precincts.

Shell V-Power Motorsport Park situated in Tailem Bend is a state of the art, world class multi-purpose facility, built for all motoring disciplines. The Motorsport Park is the ultimate experience for motor enthusiasts and has a Motorsport Track, Dragway Strip, Karting Drome and Holiday Park.
Key responsibilities include:
- Perform Daily Bank entries and reconciliations.
- Prompt processing of all Payables and entries into the accounting system
- Accounts receivable processes including, invoice raising, debtor reporting and debtor collections.
- Management of event ticket boxes
- Cash handling processes
- Stocktake management and reporting across inventory and merchandise.
- Monthe reconciliations across AP, AR, and Stock
- Daily revenue reporting
What skills and experience will our ideal candidate have?
- Previous experience preferred
- Commencing, studying or Graduate of an accounting or business course.
- Current Drivers Licence
- Flexible working hours available by negotiation for the right candidate
- High attention to detail
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong reporting skills
- Good organisation skills
- Ability to work autonomously and quickly as we are a fast-paced organisation with multiple disciplines and events happening daily in Motorsport, Accommodation and F&B
