HiSpec Industrial(Aust) Pty Ltd has a 30 year history as an engineering components supplier based in 3 states, with a Head Office in Yatala. A strong company with a stable workforce , many with over 20 years service.
Existing systems are in place based on MYOB Business Advanced.
With business growth and impending retirements we are wanting to engage a proven Accounts Officer to join our friendly team.
THE ROLE
As the Accounts Officer, your responsibilities will encompass a wide spectrum of duties, ranging from preparing journal entries and monthly/year-end closings to bank reconciliations, fixed asset maintenance, and general ledger reconciliations.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, your key duties will include;
Accounts Receivable-:
*Invoices, statements, and credit notes
*Reconciliation of bank accounts, perperation of reports
*Reconciliation and monitoring of aged debtor reports
*Pursuing outstanding debts
*Generating outgoing invoices/statements
*Liaise with Company Accountant re BAS/PAYG/Payroll tax
*Overseeing, assisting other accounts staff
Accounts Payable-:
*Batch processing and reconciliation of supplier statements
*Matching invoices to purchase orders
*Reconciliation and monitoring of aged payable reports
Cash Management-: Monitoring
Payroll-: Processed weekly.
Liaise with Company Accountant-: re BAS/PAYG/Payroll Tax
