Now, we're seeking a skilled Accounts Officer to join our team and play a pivotal role in our expansion journey. This is not just another finance role; it's a chance to be at the heart of a dynamic organization experiencing strong growth. You'll be immersed in all facets of our business, from sales and marketing to manufacturing and retail, including e-commerce, foodservice, health, pharmacy, and major retail channels.
Role Responsibilities include:
· Assisting with the management of both accounts payable and receivable
· Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards and keeping financial records
· Maintaining customer and vendor accounts
· Preparation of month end processing and balance sheet reconciliations
· Processing and reconciling inter-company transactions
· Assist with compliance lodgements including BAS
· Providing periodic management accounts and financial analysis
· Monitoring of budget performance, expenditure control
· Liaise with external accountants as required
· Managing employee expense claims
· Assist with stock valuation and control, receipting and production orders
· General office duties incl. supply orders, couriers, calls and customer inquiries as required.
Experience required:
· Degree qualified or working towards this
· Minimum three years accounting or book keeping experience including BAS preparation
· Strong understanding of the Australian tax and GST system
· Extensive administrative experience
· Advanced Excel Skills
· Strong communication and problem solving skills
· Wiise or Microsoft Dynamics experience would be well regarded, however not essential
· Experience with financial management of raw materials, quality and wastage

Working Hours
This role will initially be part-time 20-30 hours per week with potential to increase to full-time with the right candidate
