Opportunity
For an immediate start: We're seeking a dedicated Accounts Payable Officer to join our Finance & Admin team on a permanent, full-time basis. In this hybrid role, you'll split your time between remote work from home (WFH) and our Dalby Head Office, collaborating with another full-time Accounts Payable Officer. We are open to considering flexible working roster arrangements for the right candidate to support a long-term commitment to the role.
The ideal candidate for this position values consistency and demonstrates a dedicated commitment to the Accounts Payable function. Your role will also offer variety by supporting the Finance & Admin team.
Duties will include:
• Process invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Handle purchase requisitions and match invoices.
• Reconcile bank accounts, supplier statements and credit cards.
• Communicate with staff and suppliers to ensure payment accuracy.
• Assist with corporate travel arrangements as needed.
• Support month-end processes and reporting activities.
• Manage supplier onboarding, maintain supplier relations, and ensure account compliance.
Qualifications & Experience
• Demonstrated experience in a similar role is a must
• Proficient in Xero and Microsoft Suite
• Accuracy and efficient data entry
• Experience in the construction industry would be advantageous
