A market-leading Australian organisation is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Officer on a contract basis. You will be a part of a medium-sized Accounts Payable team and will be involved with the data entry and end-to-end process reporting directly to the Accounts Payable Manager.
This business is renowned for its great culture and staff retention within its team and is based in Melbourne CBD. The successful candidate will be brought on as a temporary worker, expecting to hire you permanently (full-time basis) come the new Financial Year.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Matching, batching and coding invoices- Processing end-to-end Accounts Payable process
- Ensuring transactions comply with financial policies and procedures
- Maintain a clean, organised Accounts Payable ledger
- Reconciliation of supplier payments and inter-company accounts
- Assisting with month-end closing
- Other general finance administration duties
The successful applicant should have:
- Previous experience in an End to End Accounts Payable role.- Experience with SAP, MYOB and Microsoft Dynamics is favourable.
- Patient; sometimes work can be a little bit messy in terms of how the industry operates
- Exquisite attention to detail - this is critical
- High volume invoice processing experience.
- Excellent communication skills, positive energy
