Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable

Based in Sydney's Northern Beaches, Exhibit Systems is an award-winning Exhibition and Event company offering a comprehensive range of services to exhibition, event and conference organisers. We successfully build some of the largest exhibitions in the country.

The Role

This role is a permanent, part-time position, preferable days are Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, though there is some flexibility that can be negotiated. The position will be a minimum of 24 hours per week. 

This position reports directly to the Senior Accounts Officer for day-to-day guidance and work planning. The main emphasis of this position is to keep on top of the invoicing and data entry, but you will also complete end-to-end A/P & A/R, expense reimbursement and creditor management. 

The office has a fantastic culture, with a friendly and supportive team of over 45 staff. 

Key Responsibilities:

• High volume Accounts Payable.
• Medium volume Accounts Receivable. 
• Prepare electronic payments.
• Review and payment of staff expenses and corporate credit cards.
• Ensure job numbers are allocated to appropriate purchases and sales at all times.
• A good understanding of account codes/prepayments/accruals/job costing.

The Successful Candidate:

• We are looking for someone who has an extensive knowledge of MYOB and Xero with a strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office 365.
• A Certificate IV or degree is preferable but not essential.
