As a result of significant growth, they are looking for an Accounts Payable/Receivable Officer to join their finance team on a 6 Month Fixed Term Contract. You will be need to have a solid understanding of double entry book keeping, must be comfortable in working with a manual entry system and dealing with volume.
Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following: Accounts Payable – Disbursement:
- Prepare monthly reconciliation for disbursement suppliers
- Source and enter disbursement invoices into accounting program
- Check, verify and reconcile information in accounting program
- Entering and processing of approved disbursement payments (EFT, credit card and cheques) Archiving:
- Manage archive and retrieval of matters with provider;
- Distribution of retrieved files to staff;
