About the Position
The Office of Financial Services is currently seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to join their team on a part time basis until March 2025.
Responsible for all University receipts, this role ensures that student account activities are conducted in accordance with the University’s financial policies and procedures, along with the balancing and banking of all receipts, maintaining financial records and reporting of those receipts.
Customer service is also a key element of this role, acting as the first point of contact for internal and external customers. A high level of customer service, accuracy and attention to detail is required, as well as the ability to work with minimum supervision.
Due to the responsibilities of this part time role, coverage will be required Monday – Friday with hours to be negotiated.
About the Person
The ideal candidate will have:
- A minimum 2 years experience in a similar/finance position
- Well-developed customer service skills including the ability to deal effectively communicate with clients by phone, email and in person
- Well developed organisational skills with an ability to prioritise workload, meet deadlines and demonstrate flexibility in dealing with people in competing demands
- Demonstrated advanced computing skills including the use of Microsoft Office products, particularly the use of spreadsheets as well as Email, Internet and other Financial applications
- Ability to exercise judgment and work autonomously with minimal supervision
Salary details
The salary for this 0.75FTE position commences at $49,887.98 per annum (Full-time Equivalent is $66,517.31 per annum) plus 12% superannuation per annum.
