As a Payroll/Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the payroll and accounting functions within a leading manufacturing business. This role is located in the inner-west and will be on a contractual basis.
Your day-to-day:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of weekly and monthly payrolls
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and financial statements
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
- Reconcile bank statements and manage cash flow
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
- Provide support during internal and external audits
- Degree qualified in Accounting or equivalent
- Proven experience as a payroll assistant, accounts assistant, or similar role
- Intermediate proficiency with Excel
