Founded in 1997, AAGIM is an Australian agricultural investment management company. AAGIM manages agricultural investments across Australia in the sectors of dairy, sheep meat, dryland cropping and horticulture. AAG Labour Services (AAGLS) is AAGIM’s in-house labour services company. 

AAGIM is a leading private account and direct investment management firm focused on the Australian farmland sector. To run the best farms, we need the best people.

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to support the Farm Manager on the Mango farm which consists of  55,000 producing mango trees across 152 hectares.  The property is situated approximately 15 minutes from Humpty Doo and 45 minutes from Darwin. Employing over 150 staff during harvest.

Initially the role will be 3 days per week (you choose the days).  The lead up to harvest is generally an intensive 3 month period, harvest generally runs from Mid-September to late November (you will need to be available to work 5-6 days per week). 

This is an immediate start  and a great role for the right person!

The position will support the team to oversee daily administrative duties including:

  • Processing of invoices
  • Reconciliation of monthly credit cards
  • Checking all statements on a monthly basis
  • Assist payroll in general administrative tasks
  • Ensuring all contract hours have been entered into the appropriate systems and submitted to payroll in a timely manner
  • Making sure the back packers accommodation is maintained throughout the year and specifically, during the harvest period
  • Welcome new team members and assist in the induction of all team members
  • General administrative support as required.

Requirements

  • Experience in a administrative capacity
  • Hands-on, enthusiastic, and enjoys working with a diverse team (backpackers, recruitment agencies and caretakers)
  • Ability to work independently 
  • Good eye for detail
  • A background in recruitment would be great (but not necessary).

Must have

  • Drivers Licence 
  • Australian Citizenship
  • Prior experience in an office or similar
