Your new role
As the Junior Administration assistant, you'll be responsible for providing support to all areas of the business. Tasks include:
- Providing a first point of contact for visitors
- Answering and directing calls, taking messages and handling phone enquiries
- Inbox management including responding appropriately to written enquiries
- General filing, word processing, copying, scanning, printing and data entry
- Assist with accounts payable and receivable procedures
- Assist with payroll functions as required
- Manage incoming and outgoing physical mail
- Monitor and order stationery and other office supplies
What you'll need to succeed
- Excellent telephone manner, strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong computer literacy, including knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
- Ability and willingness to follow instructions and procedures
- Willingness to work effectively as a part of a busy team
- Ability to prioritise tasks, meet deadlines, seek guidance when required but work mostly autonomously
- Current unrestricted driving licence and own reliable vehicle
- This role would be suitable for a recent graduate of a Business Administration Traineeship or similar traineeship.
