Located in High Wycombe, we are a 3PL warehouse and we are seeking a full time all-rounder Administration Assistant to be part of our team. This role offers an entry-level opportunity to gain hands-on experience across all aspects of our operations. If you don’t mind getting your hands dirty and wearing steel cap boots, then read on.
Salary: $60,000 depending on skills.
Being part of a busy small team, you can contribute to the continued success of the business by working all aspects of the administration and warehouse tasks including but not limited to:
- Assisting with the administration of the day-to-day outbound and inbound operations
- Frontline communication; answering phone, dealing with reception, responding to emails.
- Accurate typing and data entry into Excel & SAP
- Checking & packing orders
- Assist with arranging of transport/couriers
- Filing and maintenance of POD’s
- Assist with cycle counting and stocktake
- General office administration as directed by Operations Manager
To be successful in this role you will need:
- Adequate computer literacy skills Excel, Outlook, Word.
- A strong background in admin and warehouse knowledge would be beneficial.
- Ability to solve problems
- High attention to detail
- To be physically fit for this role due to the nature of the product we store.
- Your willingness to learn and your “can do” attitude.
- Need to be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and analytical skills, a strong customer focus, ability to build successful relationships with the team and the ability to cope with a high volume of work.
- Your excellent time management skills will enable you to prioritise tasks and work to tight deadlines.
This is a SALARY role and reports to the Operations Manager and is a full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hour week. However, flexibility is a must as additional hours may be required to ensure your workload is completed each day and for the occasional stocktake.
