Staines Memorial College is a non-denominational Christian College situated in the western suburbs between Brisbane and Ipswich. We cater for children from Kindergarten to Year 12 from a variety of Christian backgrounds and traditions. We also cater for families who, though not necessarily Christian themselves, desire a Christian school culture and educational experience for their children.
All staff at the College are committed followers of Jesus from a variety of denominational backgrounds, selected for their professional competence as well as their sense of calling to the ministry of a Christian School.
We are looking for a proactive and customer service focused person to join our Administration Team as a support for the Registrar within the Enrolments Team. The successful applicant will also be committed to providing high quality general administrative support to all teams across our college. You will work in a supportive team environment with all training provided. This is a fulltime role, 38 hours a week.
Tasks & responsibilities
- Work effectively as part of the Administration Team, largely providing general administration support to the Registrar within the Enrolments Team.
- Prepare and maintain information such as promotional material and enrolment documentation.
- Effectively liaise with clients to coordinate college tours and enrolment interviews.
- Support the Registrar by screening calls, managing basic enquiries and responding to emails.
- Participate in supporting clients through our enrolment application process.
Qualifications & experience:
- Previous administration or customer service experience will be highly regarded.
- A positive outlook and a willingness to learn.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills.
- Data entry skills - high level of accuracy and attention to detail with a strong focus on confidentiality.
