My client is a growing mid-sized Chartered Accounting firm in the CBD. They are specialists in the Tax, Business Advisory, Audit and Corporate Finance space and service a range of Australian businesses, high net-worth families and also multinationals.
They are seeking an Administration Assistant to assist with the firm's operations and corporate secretarial services to clients. Working in admin team of 5 and reporting to the Practice Manager, your roles consists of:
- Collating tax returns and financials
- ASIC compliance including processing annual statements, incorporating companies, trusts, SMSFs etc, minutes, ABN/TFN registrations, making changes to addresses, shares etc.
- Lodgements or tax returns, BAS, IAS, FBT and SMSFs
- Liaising with clients, ATO, ASIC and other institutions
- Updating internal client database
- Prepare reports and summaries for the team
- Filing – electronically and manually
- Disbursements and entering into the system
- Reception relief
- Ad-hoc project based tasks
Applicants
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in a professional services firm (accounting, legal or wealth management)
- Experience with MYOB and/or Xero
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work as part of a team and meet deadlines
- Organised and detail-oriented
