About the role
Established in 2004, WestWind Energy is a Wind Energy developer with our headquarters located in Gisborne. Due to business growth, we need another Administration Coordinator to join our team. Described as the glue that holds us together and the oil that keeps us running, this role is a critical member of the WestWind team and supports the smooth running of our projects and administration functions. Based in the Gisborne office, providing support to our team, no two days are the same.
Some of the tasks you’ll take responsibility for are prepare and co-ordinate internal meetings and external stakeholder events including the documentation of minutes and action items along with assistance in preparing presentations and report, minute taking and distribution of minutes and maintaining our CRM. You’ll be comfortable multitasking, and wearing many hats, and will need to maintain a calm, optimistic, cheerful manner in a fast-paced environment.
This role is required in the office 3 days each week. It’s well suited to someone living in (or close to) the Macedon Ranges. Our offices are bright and modern and we’re about to move into beautiful new premises, with lovely views of the mountains. Free onsite parking and a great team make WestWind a fantastic place to work.

Skills and experience
We are looking for someone who has:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar team support role, ideally in a project environment or with demonstrated experience supporting a diverse group of professionals
- A high level of attention to detail - this is critical, you'll be working with legal agreements and banking information
- Genuine adaptability and willingness to work with multiple stakeholders each with unique support requirements
- Excellent time management and confidence to use their initiative to problem-solve
- The ability to remain calm and focused under pressure.
Key Selection Criteria
In your application letter, we ask that you address the following Key Selection Criteria:
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, which has included reception and team administration support, with varied needs and multiple stakeholders
- High level of interpersonal skills, with a can do, customer-centric attitude.
- You must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Demonstrated ability to set priorities and multi-task. Ability to undertake new tasks quickly to meet deadlines.
- Experience using Microsoft Office suite of applications, with demonstrated ability to learn new applications.
