About the role
As the successful applicant your primary objective is to provide confidential administrative support to Cancer Services working within Barwon Health.
Other duties include but are not limited to:
- Receiving visitors to the centre and directing them to appropriate locations
- Answering telephones and directing calls appropriately
- Making appointments - internally and externally
- Registering all new patients onto the Hospital computer system and on the Cancer Services computer system
- Booking transport, interpreter services, accommodation, as required
- Updating of statistics for clinics by updating of boo9king screens for patients who attend, cancel
- Admitting and discharging of patients
