Administration Officer- Casual
About the Role
A casual opportunity exists within our friendly customer focused team for an enthusiastic, experienced and motivated person to work in our administration area. Pacific Private Hospital is a busy elective surgery centre with seven operating theatres. Located centrally in Southport and close to public transport.
This position is casual for holiday relief, sick leave cover and assistance during busy periods.
Working predominantly Monday to Friday with the occasional Saturday shift. Start and finish times vary to cover administration from 0600-1800, including 6/8/10hr shifts.
To succeed in this role, you will be a highly organised, enthusiastic professional with a passion for delivering outstanding customer service. You will have exceptional communication skills and a proactive attitude with a genuine interest in patient care.
You will also demonstrate;
- Previous experience in hospital admissions or health funds is highly desirable
- The ability to multi-task and prioritise effectively
- High level of customer service skills
- Demonstrated problem solving and conflict resolution skills
- A high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
