Your opportunity
As the Administrative Officer (AAEP) you will contribute to the effective and efficient administrative management of the school by providing relevant and timely administrative support to the Principal and Business Manager.
Reporting to the Principal, Business Manager or nominated delegate, you will work within existing guidelines to provide basic resolution of problems by reference to established procedure, consulting the Principal or Business Manager for matters that are more complex or non-routine.
As the Administrative Officer you will:
- Perform a variety of administrative and support services as required in a fast paced and dynamic school office and SEP area.
- Apply day to day independence in determining and prioritising work schedules, within a well-defined environment with regular managerial supervision.
- Assist with the operation, implementation and control of school hire schemes.
- Provide financial support and processing in Accounts payable.
- Prepare and analyse documents, reports, forms and financial data using a variety of application and cloud-based platforms.
- Communicate with professionalism with internal and external stakeholders.
- Have OneSchool and Agresso knowledge or the proven capacity to develop skills in this area in order to deliver a range of high-level administrative support.
- Provide information and advice with confidence in line with school policy and/or Principal directive.
- Front counter duties, Student timeout procedures and access to the sensory room.
- DAYMAP roll marking - student daily absence processing.
- Preparing Facebook and newsletter content.
- Assisting HOSES with procurement.
About the Ideal Applicant
You will be a dynamic person that has versatile, agile and transferrable skills in programs such as the Microsoft suite, Oneschool and DAYMAP (highly desirable).
