Hays Gippsland are currently seeking an Administrator to work for a local council, commencing immediately for a 5-month temporary role with potential for an extension. You will be required to work full time hours 0830-1700, Monday to Friday with some flexibility. Located in the beautiful area of East Gippsland; the role of an Administrator will be to provide a range of efficient administration support to the internal Information Management and Information Technology teams. 

You will be responsible for the following

• Assist and sort email, mail and courier correspondence
• Maintain upkeep of systems and enter data when applicable  
• Oversee procurement functions
• Preparation of audit reports and projects administrative support
• ICT and IM service desk administrative support
• Log all support calls in the service desk, manage incidents and escalations to appropriate officers for action
• Other Ad-hoc duties when required 

  What you’ll need to succeed

• Proven experience within Administration 
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills 
• Excellent telephone and email etiquette 
• Ability to work within a team or independently in fast-paced environments 
• Intermediate-advanced computer skills with previous use of Microsoft 365
• Excellent attention to detail and adaptability
