A Day in the Life
This role is a permanent grade 3 AHA, part time position (0.2EFT). You will be working with children aged 0-18 years old and their families, providing evidence based care. You will join an experienced and well networked team of health professionals who caters to the complex rehabilitation needs of children and adolescents who undergo interventions aimed at functional maximisation after major injury, medical illness, and congenital conditions.This exciting and unique opportunity will see you:
- Collaborate with colleagues across the service to foster clinical excellence and consistency of practice
- Provide comprehensive physiotherapist assessment and management of infants, children and adolescents attending Monash Children’s Hospital Allied Health, Monash Health community and Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation service - Monash Health services
- Be well supported in each rotation by a large, dynamic, team with on-site supervision by a Senior Allied Health professional
- Be provided with an extensive interdisciplinary and physio specific training program, professional development and the opportunity to cover a range of clinical areas and undertake quality activities and projects
- Certificate 4 Allied Health Assistant qualification
- Experience in acute, community health and or rehabilitation
- Demonstrated interest in paediatrics
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively work within an interdisciplinary team
