Seeking an AO3 Housing Administration Officer to join state government in Caboolture!
Your new company
Delivers a wide range of housing support services to Queenslanders. They are a state government department who offer this housing assistance to eligible Queenslanders through government-owned and managed social housing facilities.
Your new role
Will support the department with their housing assistance and homelessness support services. You will provide a broad range of high-quality advice for their diverse range of customers who are most commonly experiencing complex and challenging housing situations. You will liaise with customers in person over the front counter, digitally or by telephone. Day to day duties may include but are not limited to:
- Undertaking customer interviews
- Make referrals to support service agencies
- Assess applications
- Ensuring departmental compliance
- Assist in investigation activities
- Resolve customer disputes and complaints
- Managing outstanding arrears, pay deductions, refunds or debts
- Use IT systems to maintain accurate customer and property records and file notes
